She helped me remember: to get good at anything, you’ve got to go for it - and might be bad to start - but once you’ve put yourself out there and keep after it, you’ll end up closer to where you wanted to be. Find your village of friends, trust your gut, keep going, and don’t forget to laugh along the way!
